Super 6
WAVA's Super 6 is a balanced selection of low-priced programmes,
chosen especially with the participant in mind. Some are programmes which directly
benefit overseas projects in serious need of assistance, and others are programmes
that are known to give participants a very high degree of satisfaction.
A number of our overseas projects really rely on the presence of an ongoing stream
of participants to help with the day-to-day running. So much so, that only by working
collectively can these projects function and achieve their goals - they simply can't
work alone and lose out tremendously when there isn't a good turnout of volunteers.
For this reason, we feel it is only fair to give some of these programmes a special
mention and make them part of our Super 6 list. Why have we chosen these for the
Super 6? Because we recognise how important it is for us to support projects that
really need our help. Some things just make sense.
But we also strive to offer programmes that are valuable to our participants. These
are programmes that give participants a great experience in a safe, structured environment,
and helps them to develop either their language skills or their social confidence
and ability to work collaboratively with other people.
So, in order to encourage more travellers to devote their time to these Super 6
programmes we have significantly dropped their prices to make them easier
on the pocket while maintaining their financial viability.
We encourage you to consider a Super 6 programme - they change lives for the better
at both ends.
