Akwaaba! Feel the warmth of the sun as well as the warmth and friendliness of the people

Previously a British colony, Ghana was the first African country to gain independence from Britain in 1957. Located on the beautiful western coast of Africa, Ghana is generally recognised as one of the most stable, visitor friendly nations on the continent. Our programmes are located near El Minha, the historical slave embarkation port to the New World and you will have plenty of opportunity to visit this fascinating place. The Ghanaian people are known for being some of the friendliest and warmest people in the world and their hospitality will not go unnoticed by visitors to this amazing country.
