Uganda is home to a resilient people who are now finding stability in a country that has experienced hard times. Order has now returned, yet aid and volunteer work is still needed to fully re-establish Uganda's ability to provide its own social care and food. Uganda's population has also suffered from HIV, and this has left many orphans with no one to protect or provide them with a stable home. WAVA works directly with a charity in Masaka, known to be amongst the safest and most welcoming areas in Uganda. Not only will volunteers recieve an incredible life changing experience by visiting Uganda, but they will also be providing a life changing experience for the children that they will be volunteering with.
